I began my career path in 1999 with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network as a Financial Representative Intern while pursuing a finance degree at the University of Northern Iowa. I wanted the opportunity to help people achieve their dreams, and my career with Northwestern Mutual began in June of 2000.

I worked for a couple of years building my client base and mentoring our college intern program. In January of 2003, I was promoted to Field Director, where my time was balanced between taking care of my clients and helping new Financial Representatives with their careers

In July of 2007, I was honored to be titled Managing Director, where my responsibilities include recruitment, development, and management of our entire office. I also still maintain client relationships.  Here at the Funk Group we look forward to helping you and your family achieve all of your financial goals!
